You shouldn't be going back to school then. You're too old for school. If you were 15 you would be fine.

i was considering going to a university and skipping grade 13
but i think i'm gonna just go to grade 12 because i want the option of going to college next year

That is a good idea. It's better to start university later and not be as stressed as someone who went in right after high school.
