If you have an alt that has been inactive for about 6 months and you want to regain it, this is what you do:
1. You get on your other account
2. You get to the messages tab
3. Look in the inbox for a message saying "Your account will be locked due to inactivity in 7 days" or something along those lines.
4. You click the message to see when it was sent
5. If its more than 6 months ago, you can gain access to your old account.
*Note: This only works if you have BC on your account because you need to log on atleast once every 7 days in order to keep it.
*Also, this will only work if you didnt use the email recovery option (or however they do it now) to recover your account.

If I remember correctly, the 7 day period is to reset your p@$$word. Once you do that, you're golden.
