In this series of articles, I will teach you how to be a better OTer.
The first article will talk about being respectful.
Now, before I start, let's get one thing clear.
This is how to be a good OTer. Not a perfect one. Being a perfect one is literally impossible.
And now, the rules.
Respect others' opinions. This doesn't mean you can't argue with them, it just means that you have to treat their opinions like they are actual opinions.
Respect others' beliefs. You do not have to respect everyone's religious beliefs, but you do have to respect that they have them. No matter what religion you have, you cannot force it on someone else. Do you really want to risk getting stabbed for having an opinion?
Respect others' feelings. If someone tells you not to talk about something, then don't talk about it. Everyone has sensitive topics they don't want to discuss. Just listen to them and respect their decision.
Respect others' time. Don't post useless threads to waste time. Also, don't make long posts either. No one wants to read a 5 paragraph essay. It also helps if you put your posts into paragraphs. If there are any big ideas in your post, highlight them.
Respect other people's games. There are many people who make good games here on ROBLOX. Be nice to them and don't bully them.
Respect the mods. They enforce the rules. Without the mods, we would all be screwed (and not in a good way).
Respect yourself. Don't post things that you'll regret later. Always keep your reputation in mind. What you say may affect your future.
