I'm getting one in January, I'll get a decent processor (at least a dual-core), but I need to know what is a good brand of laptop.

I have an HP desktop. I wouldn't recommend it, they don't last long. Maybe just a cheap processor and a high quality graphics card.

Also, my friend has a dell desktop that he got when he was in 4th grade, and he's now in 9th grade and it still works, so I guess they're not bad either.
