And then I hear someone go "woof woof" behind me.
I turn around and see a cute little black pug with white patches on his chest and legs. He looks at me and barks, and then runs up to me and jumps on me, licking my face and biting my hands.
It's so cute!
So I bend down to pet him and he hops off and starts chasing after another dog, a greyhound, which I assume is his owner. I follow them until they stop and the owner takes out a leash and puts it on the pug. I ask if I can pet the dog and the owner says yes.
I pet him some more, and then I ask where he came from, since I didn't see anyone walking a dog around here before. The owner tells me that she lives nearby, but she got the dog from a friend who had a litter of pups, and that she was just taking him for a walk.
I pet him again, and then ask if she has any more dogs, and she tells me that no, she just has this one. I tell her that she should get more, because she really needs a dog like him, and he's really cute. She laughs and thanks me, and then we both go our separate ways.

I really hope the owner reads my forum post so she can see what a great friend and pet this dog would be! :D
