I have never been able to ride one since, I'm currently 17.
I had to buy my own bike to get back on it. It's a 2004 Yamaha R6. I went to a track to practice because my local roads are terrible for the kind of stuff you do on a sportbike. I ended up taking it on the freeway because I had nothing better to do.
This is all that happened:
1. A truck pulled out in front of me and almost t-boned me.
2. A minivan turned directly in front of me with no warning at all.
3. Another truck pulled out in front of me and almost t-boned me again.
4. Someone tried to pass me without a passing lane.
5. Someone cut me off (without looking) right before the highway split into two lanes.
6. I ran over a penny.

My second time riding one was at age 10 when my friend got me on his bike at a drag racing event. We were doing 95 mph in a 20 mph zone.

Now my 2014 Yamaha R6 is gone because I let someone borrow it, and he crashed it.

I'm about to turn 12 and I've been on motorcycles since I was 7 or so.
