Once upon a time in Japan, there was a girl named Saki who was an avid gamer. One day she was playing her favorite game on her laptop while having a cup of tea. Suddenly, out of nowhere, the laptop started to glow and flash with the ghost of a little girl. It was so bright that it scared Saki into almost dropping her tea. She took a look at the screen of the laptop to see that her game had been paused.
Saki got up off of her couch to get another cup of tea. But when she went back to her seat to resume her game, the laptop was off and the ghost had disappeared. She tried turning the laptop back on again but it wouldn't respond.
It wasn't long before Saki became really freaked out by this. She told her brother what happened and he decided to take a look at the laptop. He found no problems with the computer and thought that maybe the tea she spilled onto the keyboard might have short circuited some wires and fried the processor or something. So he opened up the laptop to check out the processor but found nothing wrong with it either.
Then Saki's brother decided to turn the laptop back on to see if the ghost would appear again. And sure enough, the ghost showed up again. Her brother immediately shut the laptop off and left it on the kitchen table. Saki and her brother then went upstairs to their bedrooms for the rest of the night.
A couple hours later, they heard a loud thump outside of the house. Saki went downstairs to investigate and saw that there was a large package on the front porch. It was addressed to her. The box was labeled "FAMILY HEIRLOOM" with an ancient seal from the 1400s stamped across the entire package. Saki brought the package in the house and handed it over to her brother to open.
Her brother took an hour to open up the package because he didn't want to ruin the heirloom by ripping into the box with the knife that came with the package. After opening the box, the first thing they both saw was a picture of their great grandfather who had died when their mother was little. Then they noticed the glass vase that contained a small doll made out of porcelain.
Saki asked her brother what the doll looked like. He described it as having red hair with a light blue dress and a white apron with a brown belt. There was also a red bow tied around her neck.
Then suddenly, the doll moved and pointed straight at Saki's face. Saki screamed and fell back onto the floor. Her brother ran upstairs to get his parents after seeing this happen.
When they all came down stairs and saw what happened, they all became very scared and decided to take the doll out of the vase so that they could look at it more closely. They all examined the doll carefully and noticed some things about the doll.
The doll had no mouth on it and its eyes were just black holes that seemed to go deep inside of the doll. The doll also had 2 small holes for ears that were on top of the head but they didn't know what the holes were used for.
After looking at the doll for awhile, everyone in the family got the chills and decided to put the doll back into the vase. Then suddenly, the doll started to move again. It kept moving until it was pointing straight up at the ceiling. Everyone freaked out and ran away from the doll in terror. And that is how the legend of the ghost began.
