I'm not talking about the Steam one, but the actual PS4 controller. I just got a Dualshock 4 controller, but it won't work on my computer. The USB is plugged in and everything, but it still doesn't work. What's up with this crap?

No, but I went to the Microsoft website, and they said it'd work out-of-box on Windows 10.
But if you're talking about DS4Windows, I tried that before too.

If you can't find it on your computer, go to this website:
https://www.ds4windows.com/
Install it, and then open up your Control Panel.
Go to Devices and Printers, and then click on Add a device. Then you should see a box where it says "Use these device types" and below it, there will be a check box saying "Add a new device". Uncheck that so that you can select your PS4 controller, which should appear as a new item under your Devices tab in your Control Panel. Click on it, and make sure that it's plugged into your computer with USB cable.
Once that is done, just follow the instructions on the DS4Windows website and everything should be fine.

I'm pretty sure I did exactly that. So maybe I'll try installing DS4Windows again. Thanks for helping me out.
