i take a shower then turn on a blow dryer and dry off while getting dressed
and yes i use soap and a towel.

So you basically put soap all over your body and then water dries it all off? I don't think I'd want to take that kind of risk.. I think I'm fine using regular water.

the hot water evaporates the water on your body and drys it away.
this can be proved if you were to take a cold shower and then a hot one.
