So I was born into this world, not knowing the pain and sorrow I would soon endure.
My childhood was filled with joy and happiness, as any normal child would experience. However, my parents were strict and always expected me to do well in school.
I never really understood why they were so strict, but I did my best to please them.
In high school, things took a turn for the worse. My grades started to slip, and I began to hang out with the wrong crowd. I soon found myself involved in drugs and gangs.
I tried to hide this part of my life from my parents, but they eventually found out. They grounded me and took away my phone privileges for several months.
It was during this time that I realized how much trouble I had gotten myself into. I decided to clean up my act and start over.
I got a job at a local grocery store and started to save up money. I also enrolled in night classes to finish up my high school diploma.
Things are looking up for me now, and I hope to one day make my parents proud of me.
