And I couldn't be any happier.
My wife is expecting our first child in June. We're having a little girl, and we are so excited. Our little family will soon become a little bigger and better.
It's been an interesting journey getting here, but the time has finally come. My wife is starting to feel movement and kicking, and we can't wait to meet her.
We've already gotten some good baby names down. Nothing concrete yet, though. It'll probably be something with a "K" in it.
But that's all in the future. Right now, it's about the here and now, and just enjoying this moment as we look forward to becoming parents.
I'm not going to lie, I'm really looking forward to my daughter growing up into a strong, independent woman. I want her to have all the opportunities she can get, and be able to make her own decisions.
It's pretty crazy how things change so quickly. Only three weeks ago, I was walking down the street with a couple of my buddies. Now I'm on the verge of becoming a father. It's almost surreal.
So, yeah. I know this isn't really what you guys expect to see on OT, but I wanted to let you all know, since you've all been so great over the last year or so, and I've had so much fun here.
Thanks for all your support. I'll keep you updated as our little girl grows and develops.

I'm aware that the term "baby" is offensive in some cases. However, in this case, it is not offensive. Nor am I using it to offend anyone. My daughter is not a "baby" in any way, shape or form. She is a child, and a strong one at that.
