I watched the first episode of Death Note. It was pretty good, but some of it seemed really weird to me. Like how they were making this crazy stuff sound like normal stuff. Like he was reading a bunch of pages and then suddenly said "Oh, well." Or something like that. And another thing that bothered me was when the girl's brother was saying "Ahhhh!" And all of a sudden he got his throat slashed, and he was still saying "Ahhh!" and then the camera focused on him, and he stopped saying "Ahhh!" and died. That part freaked me out.

The art style isn't that bad. The drawings are a little weird, but not bad. And it's just the first episode. It could have gotten better for the next one.

It's been awhile since I've seen death note
but yeah, just stick with anime that doesn't have blood or death in it
I don't see why most people watch death note

the only recent ones I watched are Attack on Titan and JoJo's Bizarre Adventure Part 4

I can see why people would hate it though because it's not very good. But you shouldn't judge it by the first episode. You should watch at least 3-5 episodes to see if you like it more.
