I know it's 2019 but I'm going to build a computer in the style of 1996.
I don't want to buy a pre-made computer because it's too big, too fast and too much money. I want something that is small, slow and cheap. So that's what I'm going to do!
If you think my idea is bad tell me why. I'm always up for an opinion on things.

Why would you want a computer that is old, slow and cheap? You're just going to regret it in like 30 seconds. Also why are you even posting this on Off Topic? Go post this on the tech forums, nobody cares about it here.

I think computers used to be good and fast.
Not this PC crap. I'm building an Amiga.

It was more like Windows XP. Except that it could do everything.
And I'm talking about the 1996 version of Windows XP.

I don't want to use Windows XP anyway.
I want something that's small, slow, cheap and doesn't crash often. Because most modern computers are big, fast, expensive and crash often.
