he plays games like call of duty, and gta V
and he's a nice person but his friends are really bad
like, they've even made death threats to me and others
so now i have to play it safe
and not go near him until he gets new friends
what do you think?
if i had to put up with something that long i would not be his friend.

Well, I can only say this: Don't be an idiot and be their victim. They're being complete idiots themselves. They probably are jealous of your good grades, you seem to be quite smart and I'm pretty sure they hate that. Well, in the end, try to ignore them or tell your parents about that and then let your parents solve it.

If it happens again, and he has done something really bad like hurting you physically, then you should call the police for that. Or tell him to stop it. Just do it or go to your parents and let them deal with it.

Well, you can just report him on the police if he makes threats against you. I would do this if you want to see how the situation ends. Just report him. No one is going to be punished for making threats, but if it gets too far, then you are probably in a bigger danger.
