there isn't really a difference, especially in the last two seasons.
it was getting more boring and boring, but i guess that's normal. you just have to find your favorite character.

i do kinda like twilight sparkle, but i'm not going to pretend it's not overrated
and i also like rarity. but she's overused. she's the same personality as pinkie pie. she's basically just the female version of pinkie.

I do like twilight sparkle too, but only because she's actually nice to everyone
Pinkie Pie is a bit too hyper for me, and Rainbow Dash... she's alright but I feel she's too tomboyish for me

rainbow dash can be good when they don't use her for the entire episode. like in the season finale last year.
but yeah, pinkie is pretty annoying.
twilight is okay.
rarity is okay, but if i had to choose between her and pinkie, i'd choose pinkie.
