What 3d engine do you think would be the best.

Unity is pretty good, I used it for several years before moving on to Godot. Godot is a free open-source engine with its own scripting language (based off python) that is more powerful than C#.

It's not bad news. It's actually true, C# has limited control over the programing in Unity, while Python allows complete and total control of your program.

I'm not trolling, it's true. You can do anything in it, including the physics system, but it comes with a cost of having to write your own code for everything.

Godot has very good visuals, it's free so I recommend trying out some tutorials online and trying a simple game like Pong to test the visuals. Godot also provides all of the code for each object or function.
