I have this problem where I get really anxious over going to the dentist.
It's just this thing that has happened since I was 5 and now I'm 13. It's just, this problem with me that won't go away no matter how many times they tell me to get over it.
The worst part is that I am also scared of needles.
It's a bit of a conundrum.

What if they say something you don't want to hear? Tell them to shut up

@Supah
I did try that once.
I was 8 or 9, my dentist said that my teeth were nice and clean. I told her that my teeth weren't nice and clean because I had gotten some milkshake on them. She looked down at my teeth and she saw the milkshake stain.
Then, she proceeded to ask me to open wide so that she could look at my teeth. And then, as soon as I opened my mouth, I saw her poke me in the gums with a needle and I screamed in agony. They took me outside the room, gave me a shot of something to relax me and told me that I needed to calm down. My mom had to come in and hold me while they cleaned my teeth. Ever since, whenever I went to the dentist, they'd take me out of the room and give me something to relax me.
