it's the same as if you get shot in the foot, and i was like "ow, my foot", not "why did someone shoot me"
school shootings are no different

but school shooters don't just shoot one person
they shoot lots of people
and even though this is what has been happening for years and it is unlikely to change anytime soon, it always shocks the public whenever it happens because even though they know it would probably happen again, they never thought it would actually happen to them
