The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD
The Wind Waker HD is a remastered version of The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker, with the game being re-released on the Wii U as part of the Nintendo Selects line in North America and Europe. The remaster was first shown at E3 2011 in a video which also showed off Super Mario 64 for Wii U.
The game features enhanced graphics and various new features including Miiverse, improved controls using the Wii U Gamepad, an ability to save anywhere, and the ability to choose between different control schemes. Also included are support for the Wii Remote and Classic Controller, optional motion controls and gyroscopic aiming, support for off-TV play, and an optional "Hero Mode", which reduces heart containers to four instead of eight and makes enemies weaker but stronger overall. The game also includes optional Wind Waker HD specific music that can be listened to when starting a new file or when playing via off-TV play on the Gamepad. Additionally, when playing via off-TV play on the Gamepad, the Gamepad itself acts as the Triforce.
It was released worldwide in September 2013.[1]
