China is the only country that can match US technology wise.
US has the superior military power, but it's not much better than china.
However, we do have more soldiers so we would have a larger advantage in numbers.
If Trump does what he's been saying and pulls us out of NATO, Russia will be our new ally. Russia and china are very close so if we become allies with Russia we could get China to help us by giving us weapons and such.
However, I highly doubt this would happen. I think the US will be able to defeat china, but I think it would be a long war because of the high number of troops involved
I think the US will win due to the fact that we have superior weapons and we have more soldiers.

we can't pull out of NATO unless congress agrees on it which they won't
the only way we would be able to do it is if we were at war and we needed all our troops somewhere else

no one in congress will agree to that
it'd take a special act passed by both houses of congress
plus there are many countries we depend on who use the US as their primary military ally
if the US pulled out of NATO, those countries would be screwed without US help

The US is already weak. Russia isn't that big of a threat, the only reason we had to get involved in WW3 is because we were trying to stop the spread of communism.

the only countries we're close to fighting with are North Korea and Iran
I'd put NK slightly below china in terms of power
and I'm not sure where you think Iran fits into this, but they have no chance of winning against us in any way shape or form

Russia is our enemy, but we don't declare war on them for other reasons.
If we pull out of NATO that can all change.
And if russia went to war with us we wouldn't be able to fight in both wars at once.

because the only country that could help us if we did decide to go to war against another country would be Canada, and even that's a stretch.

Yeah, that's why I said I highly doubt that would happen.
Although it wouldn't be much different than the US fighting Russia than it is China because they both have pretty similar technology.
