it's a card game
but the cards are people
the rules will be
1. you can't name any other person who isn't in the room
2. each turn, you must draw or play a card
3. drawing is free
4. playing requires discarding one of your cards into the discard pile
5. each player has their own discard pile, and only the players can see them
6. once all players have played their cards, there's a free turn where all players can draw
7. if the last card on your hand is a certain card, it gets discarded automatically
there will also be a "last stand" rule to ensure no one wins too quickly
in terms of game length, it would be best if everyone had 10 turns before the round ends, and we'll go through that many rounds until someone gets 9 or more points
also, there will be special cards called "powerups"
here's the powerup list:
1. "change rooms"
2. "change hands"
3. "give a card"
4. "take a card"
5. "trade"
6. "trade" will let you trade a card with another player; this counts as a draw but doesn't allow for trading again
7. "force draw" will force every other person in the room to draw (not include yourself)
8. "last stand"
9. "wild" will let you do anything to your opponent except take cards from their hand
i'm still brainstorming the cards and the rules
but i think it should be pretty fun

oh yeah
the objective of the game is to get as close to 9 points as possible without going over 9
