the whole concept of having "friends" is stupid anyway, just because someone is nice to you does NOT mean they are your friend. if it did then you would have friends everywhere and even with people who hate you. if anyone is actually "friends" with you, it's only because they have something in common with you, but that doesn't make them your "friend". no one is obligated to be your friend unless they want to. there's nothing wrong with being alone or not making friends. you shouldn't even care if you don't have any friends

i think i'm going through depression because i hate everything about myself (looks, personality, etc), i have absolutely no self-worth, and i'm just tired of living in general. it's as if life isn't worth living anymore. i was considering taking my own life just to end all the pain and misery i've been feeling, but i think i'll hold off for a while.

you might not make any friends at your library. you could try going to the park on weekends or hanging out with people after school or during lunch or something like that but idk

why do you have to make such a big deal out of this? no one really cares about this. i'm not surprised that you managed to make a "friend", i mean she's probably just being nice because you're obviously lonely or something like that. nobody actually wants to be friends with someone who's a total stranger. you've had so many chances to make friends and yet you can't seem to make any progress. no one is going to become your friend by accident, you need to put in an effort in order for people to get to know you. no one will ever like you if you don't even try to make friends in the first place. you've got to take the initiative if you want to start making friends.

i didn't say that nobody would ever make any friends if you tried, i said that nobody would be your "friend" by accident. but i never really thought about making friends in a library, so maybe that could actually work. i mean i wouldn't know anything else about libraries since i don't go to one that often.

that's good i guess. you should try hanging out with people in real life instead of being on the computer all day though. try going out more often and socialize with people. if you don't want to get into too much detail, i'm pretty sure you can find friends online. but it probably won't be as easy to make friends as it was in the library.

it's pretty obvious that you have some kind of social anxiety or something like that. the only way i know how to overcome social anxiety is through practice. it doesn't really matter where you are, just as long as there's people around who you can interact with. i mean you've had plenty of chances to interact with people, so why not take advantage of it?
