I don't like it.
It's just a cheap marketing scam to get more money from Nintendo. It's like they're saying "Hey! You want this expensive 3D screen? Well, you can have a cheaper one for half the price!"

They'll sell quite a lot, though. People will buy it thinking "Oh, hey! Look at this 3D screen!" and they'll be like "WOW SO AMAZING I'M GONNA BUY IT". Then when they get home they'll realize that the 3D sucks, and that it costs more than the normal DSi.

Yeah, but most of the people who will buy that probably won't know how to operate a DS or a DSi.
