It's because they are simpler than modern ones. So I don't have to worry about making a bad decision, or being bad at something.
I'm not saying modern games are bad (I don't play them), but I think that is why I enjoy playing older games more

I guess. But I think I'll be happier if I actually figure out why I like them and find new games I might like.
