I've noticed that people who have pets are usually a lot more friendly. Maybe it's because they like to talk about their pet, or maybe it's just because they're nice and friendly people.
People who don't have pets tend to be less friendly, but that doesn't mean they aren't nice. It's just that they probably don't care if you're friendly or not. They really don't have any reason to be, so they won't be. Unless you make them. :3
But anyway, yeah.
