anyway my room is small
and there's barely space to stand next to my desk

it's not as easy as it sounds
I'd need to walk out of my room, past the kitchen, past my little brother who's sitting in the living room and might see me go past or hear the toilet flushing, then open the door where my cat is waiting, then turn on the light and pee
then turn off the light and close the door and wait for my brother to leave

you don't have to flush right away
just get up and do your business while he's playing with his toys or whatever
then you can hide in the bathroom while he's walking around downstairs.
