when you see this a lot, what you're seeing is someone who has nothing to hide and doesn't feel like they have anything to lose
you don't need to be a good guy for people to like you
people can like you even if you do bad things

You've got to be careful not to use that kind of thinking though.
People often put on a show when in the public eye, so it's quite common for them to act better than they are.

I said "public" eye, which was meant to imply something being shown in the public, like how one would act in public, or on the internet.

I guess I should rephrase what I said, then. People often put on a show when they want others to think well of them, and/or when they're looking out for themselves (i.e., trying to stay safe).
