It's good for self-esteem.
I'm an Eagle Scout and I've been in Boy Scouts since the first grade. I go camping a lot and it feels good because I know that I can survive in the wilderness on my own. I also enjoy learning about leadership.

I can't wait to get started on my first service project in early November. I'm going to be building benches for a local park and I'm excited. Hopefully I will be able to complete that and the rest of my requirements by December. Then I can move onto Star.
