type like when i say "hello" on here it shows up as "hello" but if i want to type "hello" on a real forum it shows up as "hello"

If you use the code tag, you get text.
If you use normal tags, you don't.

I use Alt codes. They're the best, especially when I'm talking about Pokémon. :D

i dont use alt codes, they are a pain to figure out, all i need is an easier way of using them

Well what did you think Alt codes was?
They are the easiest way to type stuff out with special charaters. That and using the regular keyboard method, which isn't any easier unless your typing stuff like ( ) and such...
