how do you think society will be shaped
i think we will have our own robots, with human-like emotions and artificial intelligence, but they will be mostly made for use in industries like the army or space exploration
or maybe we will see more advancements in genetics, which will allow us to get rid of cancer and other major diseases
maybe we will even see a huge amount of colonisation of other planets, or even our first step towards building a colony on mars
what do you guys think?

I predict there'll be some sort of major disaster that completely changes how we live. It could either be an economic disaster caused by overpopulation/immigration, or an environmental disaster that completely messes up our ability to support life on Earth.
But who knows what's going to happen, right? :P

well, i guess the question is, what would happen if the human race was wiped out?
a new intelligent species would probably evolve within several billion years
but who knows...

If the human species were to go extinct, I don't know if there'd be much of a future for any new species to evolve.
Even if it did, it would almost certainly take millions or even billions of years for that species to reach anything close to our current intelligence level. So, in the grand scheme of things, it wouldn't really matter anyway.
And even then, humans aren't the only species we've created on earth. We also have genetically modified organisms like cows, pigs, etc. Some of them can be as smart as dogs or chimpanzees, and they're almost certainly going to become smarter than us eventually. So even if something did end the existence of the human species, we'd still exist through these creatures.

i dont doubt that you might be right
but im just hoping that we can maintain ourselves without destroying this planet that we call home
we have made some terrible mistakes throughout history (some of which i could name but im too lazy to do so) and im worried that our mistakes are going to continue for thousands more years
