I love the idea of someone just randomly stalking a bunch of teenagers and murdering them, and I have always wanted to be in one of those situations where you are stuck with someone like that.

It has suspense and I thought the character development was great.
Also, there are some really gory scenes that scared me when I was younger.

I also love "The Faculty", which is another great horror/comedy movie. It's basically just a bunch of kids in high school who have to deal with an alien invasion.

but the characters are pretty much generic and the plot is really predictable.
the only thing i like about the scream series is the humor

Scream 2 was OK, it wasn't as good as Scream 1 but it was still pretty enjoyable.
