There is a virus called "Crimson Eye" that is very dangerous and has been going around lately. It can be easily spread through flash games and other suspicious sites, but most commonly it was found on hacked websites. If you think you may have it or if you see random windows pop up on your screen, here are some steps to remove it: 1. Power down the computer immediately. 2. Unplug the power cord and wait for 10-15 minutes. (If you leave it plugged in for too long it may damage the motherboard permanently.) 3. Power up the computer again and wait for Windows to load. 4. Go to the "Start" menu and type "Internet Security 2014" into the search bar. This will be the name of the virus that is probably running in the background. 5. Right click on the application and press "Open File Location." This will show the actual location of the file within Windows. 6. You must now delete the file, so right click on it and press "Delete." 7. Restart the computer to finish the process. Please remember that if you do not use a computer security program, like McAfee or Norton, you are putting yourself at risk every time you go online. Thanks for reading, BLOK
