I had one too but it died in like 2 months because I didn't know how to take care of it, so I bought a new one and gave the dead one away to an animal shelter.

I called my chinchilla Chinchilla because it was funny. I also named my dog Chinchilla. But then we gave our dog away when my mom said no dogs anymore
