and im in 7th grade
but they want us to make something that is kind of complicated like an experiment or a machine or whatever and i dont even know where to start
i just want to glue some rocks and call it done

go on youtube and watch all the videos on there about science projects, there are a lot of tutorials and it might give you some ideas.

you can always do a simple project like making a volcano. I did that one once before and it worked well.

just choose a topic you find interesting and just look into it, maybe it will lead you to a good idea

because if you choose a topic that interests you, then you would most likely be able to find out more about it and find something that would be a good idea for a project.

No they're pointless. You do a project for one day, and you don't even remember it after. Why spend all that time on something no one cares about? That's why science fair projects are pointless
