Well, it's just a name they give it. It isn't really a new generation of consoles if you think about it. You have to be patient and wait for the good things to come with it. That's why I'm not rushing on buying any of them yet.

It is a generation if we are talking about the year that it was released in. For example, PS4 was released in 2013. It would make sense for Sony to release PS4 Pro since it's going to be 5 years.
