A vicious circle is a situation in which one thing causes another, and that other thing causes the first one over and over again.
It's important not to get caught up in the vicious circles of our lives. Here are some examples:
When you are anxious about something, you may avoid situations that remind you of it. But avoiding those situations can make you more anxious about them.
If you hate being alone, you might always seek out company. But this could mean that you end up with people who don't care as much for you as they should.
A vicious circle can be very difficult to break out of. Once you realise that you are caught up in a vicious circle, you must find ways to stop doing the things that cause the cycle to continue. This might require a lot of self-reflection and self-discipline.
