I was just wondering why we started a war with Iraq. I mean, why would you? They never done anything wrong.

Well, after we started the first Gulf War in 1991, Iraq was still dangerous because Saddam Hussein wanted to develop weapons of mass destruction again
and then he started an economic and military embargo with the UN
he also had a lot of oil
they were a huge nuclear threat back in the 90s

Well, there's also the fact that Saddam actually did something bad to his country (I think)
but mainly because Iraq could be a threat to other countries if they developed nukes
and because Iraq tried to sabotage the US economy
I'm still missing some facts so I don't know how accurate this is

because the U.S. is run by corrupt government officials who have ulterior motives (like controlling oil in the middle east and getting re-elected in office)
