i joined in febuary of 2012
i was on another account in april-may 2012 and i had an alt named jesse123987
so, people say that the forums were better back in 2009-2011
but to me, this forum is still ok

i have a problem with people saying that things were better in the past
just because you joined earlier doesn't mean that you should feel entitled to any special treatment or that you are any better than anyone else

the truth of the matter is that there are people who just make excuses
they say that the old times were "better"
"better" is subjective and not quantifiable
most of the people i see using this excuse have no proof or evidence whatsoever
i would like to see some evidence or proof that things back then were actually better, but i don't think they can

what i mean by "better" is that they believe that things back then were better because they joined earlier
therefore, they have a false perception of reality
