Is to think in the language and speak it out loud.
So I learned english, spanish, french, german, japanese, korean, chinese, russian, arabic, turkish and hindi by thinking in those languages.
I'm currently learning australian aboriginal languages (many of them are in danger of dying)

And in order for you to do that, you had to translate your stupid to english which is wrong.
You can't speak the word stupid in english while you are a language

Because stupid means different things in different languages
So in order for me to translate stupid into another language, I need to first understand what stupid means in my native language. But if stupid is a language then it doesn't make any sense to say stupid because that is your language and your language doesn't know what stupid means
