I used to be a pretty good Christian, and then one day I asked why there wasn't more diversity in the Bible. Then they excommunicated me. I haven't gone to church since then. And now I've sinned so bad that I can't get back into church.

Well you need to find a new church then.
And if they won't allow you back just because you asked questions, you can still go to your own church if you want to worship God without the judgmental people.
