I've been watching anime since I was 10 and I'm now 15. I usually watch the classics and stuff like that, but I'd say my favorite genre is horror (though only for the art style and setting, since most of them are garbage).
This post will probably be filled with cringe.

Yeah, I did that as well, but I started off with YuYu Hakusho then moved to Pokemon.

Oh man, what's your favorite anime? Mine would have to be Paranoia Agent and Higurashi No Naku Koro Ni.
And don't tell me you're still into Digimon because it sucks.

oh man i love parano agent tbh
i love murder mystery shows and that show is just that on top of being artsy
also my absolute favorite is angel beats
you should watch that sometime

ok so a few months back i saw you say you enjoyed horror shows soooo i found you this one because it is kinda horror (but only like ghost horror i guess)
it has some romance in it too but thats pretty much the main genre
its called oregairu which literally translates to
"a little too far isn't good"
its about a boy who joins a club to help him with his studies and he meets people but uh he also kind of dies i guess (not really)
the art style is like a lot of japanese highschool stuff so if you dont like that look then idk
its pretty weird and kinda romantic so idk if youd like it but it might be worth checking out
