You just got a bad grade on your test. You think that it is impossible for you to get into college with the grades you have right now. Here are some helpful things to do if you get a bad grade on a test:
1.) Get tutoring
Getting tutoring can help you get caught up in school. It will also give you another way of looking at the subject matter.
2.) Ask for help
Ask teachers, parents or peers for help. If you ask for help, you might find that someone already knows how to help you.
3.) Study more
Sometimes we need extra help when studying. Make sure you study outside as well as inside. Some people study better outside.
4.) Use resources
There are many ways to use resources besides going to the library or using Google. Go to the Internet, talk with other students and read books on your own to make sure you understand everything.
5.) Talk to your teacher about your problems
Don't be shy about asking your teacher for help. If he/she can't help, he/she can point you in the right direction.
6.) Be honest with yourself
Don't let your pride get in the way of learning something new. If you are having trouble with a subject, don't be afraid to admit it.
7.) Relax!
Taking time out to relax can actually help you learn faster. If you can't relax in the classroom, go home after school and do something relaxing like playing games or watching TV.
