There is a Japanese festival around my area. It isn't a full blown con but it is something.

Anime con? What kind of person goes to an Anime convention?
I mean come on, that's just like watching anime all day, getting on forums to talk about anime and even playing some video games about anime.

Anime cons are for people who like both manga/anime and dressing up as their favorite characters.
Not saying they do it for all the conventions though.

Well, I have been doing it since I was a kid (with my friends).
Now I tend to play solo and in chat rooms. Rarely any real-time roleplay.
