what are people liking about it, i can't seem to figure out why they like it so much
i mean, it's just a portable console that doesn't play anything good and is overpriced

it has a bunch of good games on it. super mario odyssey, splatoon 2, zelda breath of the wild, the legend of zelda: majoras mask 3d, captain toonlink, xenoblade 2, pokemon ultra sun/ultra moon (if you count those as good) are all good games for it.
I have a time machine that only goes forward in time, called my bed... +2k posts | add 1k to post count

i already played all these games on other systems
i mean they're pretty good but i don't think they're worth getting a console over

well if you want more games there's also 1-2 switch and some other stuff like the original mario kart 8 and some other random games

1-2 switch is just a party game. Mario Kart 8 is the exact same game as wii u so idk why people would like it over the wii u version. The other random games? I'm pretty sure none of them are good.

but the wiiu version doesn't work on tvs with hdmi ports, so a lot of people who don't use their wiiu anymore bought the switch for those games and have been loving it.

i don't understand how not being able to hook your console up to an hdmi port is worth getting another system
especially when they could get a ps4 or xbox one for basically the same price

because some people don't want to deal with cables and also because there's more games on the switch than both the xbox and the ps4 combined. the switch has a huge lineup of games coming out this year, i think it's pretty exciting.

ok let me get this straight
some people are too lazy to plug in cables and buy multiple consoles so they can play good games
instead they choose to pay over $300 for a system that can only play good games on portable mode, where you'll end up playing them anyway

why would i want to play games with no good competition when i could play them on a system with better graphics and more power?
that's like saying the nes is worth getting over a modern console because it's the only system that has games like super mario bros

well the games look good for their type of system, so i don't know why you're complaining. i'm not saying the switch has the best graphics or anything, but i think it looks pretty good for being a handheld system.

the fact that people are actually praising this thing's graphics is beyond me. there is absolutely NOTHING good about these graphics, they look awful
