Yeah. And my family is huge. My dad has three older brothers and one younger brother, my mom has two older sisters, and my aunt is an identical twin. -_- I have too many cousins.

I'm sure we aren't related. But we share a lot of things in common.
My family isn't really large. Just me and my sister.
We both have dark hair, brown eyes, and are adopted.

... So it's not very common? I mean, there are like hundreds of people named John in America. My great-grandpa's first name is John too. My grandma was named after him, but she was given the nickname Jenny and she went by that for her whole life.
