I'm going to have to take this in steps. The first step is to find another human being, so I will go outside and search for a living person.
If I find someone else alive, then I'll attempt to communicate with them through body language. If they understand me, I'll let them know about the situation we're in, and ask if they want to go with me or stay alone, preferably in an abandoned building.
Once that's done, I'd go inside the abandoned building and try to figure out what caused this. This means finding old newspapers, books, magazines, journals, etc. to get some kind of idea what happened. If I cannot find anything, I'll have to come up with something on my own, which would be hard without anyone to talk to.
If I found any old technology (computers, televisions, radios, phones, etc.), then I'll try to repair it so I can get some news, listen to music, or whatever else I can do with it. Of course, if it doesn't work, then there's nothing I can do about it unless I learn how to fix it.
After all of that, I would have no choice but to make some sort of plan to survive here. The first thing that comes to mind is building a shelter, maybe out of wood and leaves, until I can construct something more solid. Then, after I've figured out what caused this, I would find a way to get off the planet and back home.

No you wouldn't.
You'd live, but you wouldn't know it.

I would live? Who cares? Nobody cares!

@TheClosedCloset
Sure people care. I mean, you're not dead yet.

If nobody cared then I would be dead.

@TheClosedCloset
Surely you don't think that much, do you?
