I listen to stuff that isn't exactly mainstream, but not really alternative either.
It's pretty interesting to see the difference between a music fan and a "music fan". It's always been kind of weird to me to see how people who are into all this other weird stuff and music (like myself) can also be into more mainstream things.
Like I really dislike mainstream music, but I still listen to it sometimes, just because I think it's fun or I can relate to it for whatever reason.

I don't really listen to any type of music.
I'm very boring.

@Muff
Nothing.
I just sit there and stare at the TV when I'm bored.

@67thave
I was talking more about like the "hipster" style of music.
People that like things like mathcore and post-hardcore, etc.
I don't see those people too often on ot (at least not anymore), but a lot of the time they're just as bad as the mainstream fanbase.

@sanko
i only said i don't see them because they aren't really well represented in any way
but it's kind of weird to me how some people can be into all this other stuff and then be into mainstream music
like how people can be into like post-hardcore or whatever and still be into skrillex

"they can like what they want."
i agree with this statement
the only reason i posted is that you called them "hipster"
you have no idea what "hipster" means

@67thave
I mean, if the only thing you know about someone is that they listen to weird indie music, then yeah they probably are going to act like hipsters.
Like I don't think that everyone who listens to that stuff is a hipster (even though most of them probably are), but if you just see someone listening to mathcore for example, then chances are pretty high that they'll act like one.
