That's a really stupid argument.
People use guns to kill other people.
So basically, guns are a part of the whole process of killing another person.
I know my facts.

Yes. It is indeed stupid.
The most logical thing I can think of in relation to this statement is if we didn't have guns, the person wouldn't have been able to shoot you.

I'd also like to add that "people kill people" is the same as saying "guns kill people", because people are using the gun to kill other people.

they're using the gun to kill others, yes, but the fact still remains that if the person didn't have the gun they wouldn't have been able to kill people with the gun
so the gun is still a part in the process of killing people
