They said they're taking my account away and that I'm getting a refund for every dollar I put into it.

The only thing you really need to pay off is the overdraft fee. If you cancel the card, they will just charge the overdraft fee against whatever funds you still have available.

No, I didn't get an overdraft fee, I paid for everything in full and on-time.

Then I'm not sure why they would take away your account. I would contact the bank if I were you and try to sort out the issue.
