Its the idea that for every action, there is an equal opposite reaction. Meaning every time you sneeze a small butterfly will fly across the world and destroy a city and cause a nuclear war. So basically to make sure everything balances out, we live in a parallel world where the exact same thing happens but in reverse.

The only reason why we can see the stars is because of the light they give off, which is just waves of electromagnetic radiation. If there was no atmosphere then we could not see any stars or planets because of that lack of electromagnetic radiation.

I think you're thinking of the "multiverse" concept too much. I'm talking about the fact that all of us could potentially dream about the same thing, and if that were the case, the universe could be full of people who dream about the same thing and have the same memories.
